Westport and Greenway

Westport
Tuesday 2nd Aug Annie 9.5, Sam 9.5, Jane 10.5, Paul 1 Total 20.

Paul's day to collect in Westport where he collected about E280.
Collecting started slowly but the afternoon was better, Sam joined Paul and covered both sides of the street - no escaping!

Annie and I walked together and Sam walked on his own. It was a great walk with the magnificent Croag Patrick mountain on our right and the coast on our left.
It's a long and windy road ....

I've got a baaaaaad feeling about this!

In the evening Paul and I went back into Westport and had a wander around the town and harbour area.  Westport is a very pleasant town.

Greenway
Wednesday 3rd Aug All 13 miles Total 26.  Walking total 627.5!
Walked from Westport heading West and then North. Most of the walk was on the Greenway which is a fantasic walking/  cycling route away from the road.  The scenery was wonderful and we were really lucky with the dry weather.  We hear that it is very hot back home but the temperatures haven't passed 19 C.  Staying in Broad Haven Bay Hotel in Belmullet for 2 nights.
Ah, brother and sister together.

Who put that sheep there!

Forgotten somebody?
